That's the pad we're looking at here, and boy is it adorable. Western players have the larger, 3-button pad, while in Japan you can purchase the smaller 6-button variant (known there as 'Fighting Pad 6B'), which was released to coincide with the Sega port of Street Fighter II. With the release of Mega Drive / Genesis games on the Nintendo Switch Online service, subscribers have been offered the chance to purchase a wireless controller based on the original that came with the console all those years ago. However, despite the '90s being the 'in' decade right now, we no longer occupy that particular time today, these two Japanese companies are on much better terms, so much so that – yes – we do now have a piece of Sega consumer hardware produced by Nintendo. "Sega and Nintendo are mortal enemies," they would retort "what planet on you from, poindexter?" (Or words to that effect, at least). If you could hop into a time machine and fly back to the early '90s and tell a young gamer that one day, Nintendo would make a piece of Sega hardware, they'd probably spit out their sugary Sunny D and laugh in your face. Top end power increased suddenly and the snap steering action when driving through 1 inch think water on roads disappeared. I felt the difference when they were fitted but realised they needed to go after the speed comparison, so I got some Pirelli Scorpions instead. When driving back from a FL2 rockingham castle free 1/2 day driving eggperience I realised just how bad my GG AT2's (original type) were at speed. You don't get the same load pressures so noises are different and the engine won't get the required wind flow to cool it but you have the opportunity to eggsperiment a bit. When I was looking for my squeal I made my own rolling road with ma HippoRamps (TM). We have an Excellent 98 Service Rating on Feefo and have been. The General Grabber AT3 is a All Terrain and Off Road All Season tyre designed to be fitted to SUV and 4x4. Or if you get a better understanding of the type of noise and possibly its location from outside the vehicle if someone were to drive past you. I'm wondering if this is a noise you can hear inside but not outside. Also want to finish editing another video on hippo's today but need to do some other stuff too. Perhaps not enough time so I'll watch it online on bbc1. Click to expand.I'm thinking about putting me carpets and front seats back in in time for the formula 1. So could it be billionaire Edward Olden, given his fixation on young Audrey? It almost feels like no stretch at all that Kurt would be this crazy guy now. This week he was nothing but a shallow grouch, just angry about everything and spouting boring lines about "how is this going to find MY SON?" Or "MY SON is out there and being MY SON!" It's enough to make me not want him to be the Sniper/Hunter Killer (who we saw make a kill this week). He stormed onto the scene at the end of last week's episode with fury, but also a desperate plea to those he seemed to consider friends. So Harrison (plus the time away) might present an opportunity to do that story again, since New Blood is very directly in the business of course-correcting things from the final season.Ĭlancy Brown's Kurt was more of a presence this week, albeit an annoying one. The Brain Surgeon killed the kid, but Dexter saw the Dark Passenger in Zach and was considering mentoring him. It's almost Dexter's origin tale to a "T." So will Harrison have his own "whoopsie" (with Ethan maybe)? Is this to be Dexter's final lesson? Might Harrison succeed Dexter? Will Dexter be Harrison's first victim? There's a lot to ponder just after this one episode.īut also consider that they already tried to do a version of this story in Season 8 with Dexter and that young murder boy, Zach (Sam Underwood). Harrison, as a toddler, watched his mom get killed by Trinity and then sat in her blood for who knows how long, crying. And also.he was an addict at some point too? He's for sure a damaged young man.Īnd the Season 4 finale can't be ignored, right? Especially as the last episode Clyde Phillips was the showrunner for in the original run. There's still so much we don't know about Harrison's time with Hannah, or his years in foster care. So does Harrison have Dexter's darkness? He himself was worried about it, and it's possible it wasn't just because of the letter. Maybe not as much as future psycho Ethan does, who envisions himself as The Punisher in an instantly alarming way, but enough to almost immediately stand up for someone and use violence to make his point. The bozo teens he connected with last week, Audrey withstanding, are now his enemies. Harrison was still pissy here and there, whenever Dexter would slightly misstep as a dad.īut Harrison's solo story started toying around with some compelling things. And there were still traces of that this week too. This boy would travel the country for years looking for "Jim Lindsey," only to find him and then constantly complain about what a bad father Jim was being when Jim was trying, for the first time, to be a father. Mentioned in last week's review was Harrison's egregious teenage-ness, coupled with being a resentful estranged son, making him an insufferable re-addition to Dexter's life. It was time to be a father (whatever he thinks that means now). More interesting here was how Dexter's exhaustion and unavailability due to these efforts wove into his story with Harrison and how much Dexter tried to convince himself that this was a one-time mistake that, once solved, wouldn't happen again. We don't have to get into the main meat of "Smoke Signals" too much since the bulk of it involved Dexter doing his damndest to ditch the body he created (and mutilated) in what's now the second episode in a row dealing directly with the aftermath of the premiere. By the rules of Dexter, insofar as "how one develops a Dark Passenger," Harrison certainly seems like a fledgling Bay Harbor Butcher, right? "Smoke Signals" may have had Dexter chasing his tail again, still dancing with local authorities (and wildlife cameras, CSI guys, and Chekhov's grizzly bear) to cover up his Matt Caldwell "whoopsie," but it zeroed in on some curious and promising aspects of Harrison's character that may prove fruitful a few episodes from now. The image that came with the announcement intrigued us, from the outset it looked wrong … but why? It’s not clear if the rounded (sorry ‘softer’) corners will be in Windows 10 or, more likely Windows 11 (Win11 has round corners on all windows Missing Quick Access Toolbar a neutral color palette, softer window corners, refreshed tabs in the ribbon, and colorful presence indicators so you can easily see who’s working on a document with you. “ … modern yet familiar, designed to help you focus on your best work. The usual colorful but mostly meaningless Microsoft prose accompanies the announcement: The theme will stay in sync with your Windows light or dark mode by default. The selections at File | Options | General | Office theme are still there Dark Grey, Black, White, Colorful and Use system settings. Office LTSC 2021 does NOT get the visual refresh. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access, Project, Publisher, and Visio. It’s a shameless push to customers who choose, understandably, to save files on their computer not follow Microsoft’s demand to use OneDrive for everything.Īll the Office 365/2019 apps are affected. If the document isn’t saved to a compatible cloud service, the AutoSave label and slider remain. The AutoSave and Save button are still fixed on the left of the title bar, whether they are applicable or not. On the other hand, it’s over-crowded the Title Bar which has caused other troubles. Over time Microsoft has filled the Office interface with more buttons, which we like, because complexity isn’t a vice. It’s a flatter look with nothing to distinguish the tabs from the title bar. I’m a ‘sucker’ for inspirational films – I think they’re the one way to get people to learn something from them and take action in their own lives. I think this film’s message is so powerful, and so profound that it puzzles me why this was so under the radar during it’s release in the cinemas. Dan is one of those guys that most people don’t enjoy being around because he seems to have everything good grades, athletic prowess, and an endless stream of hot sorority babes in his bed all a result of very. I’ve wanted to see Peaceful Warrior since the first time I saw the trailer, I’ve read all the raving reviews about how amazing and life-changing the book is and I was absolutely hyped for this. The peaceful warrior movie revolves around Dan Millman (Scott Mechlowicz), one of UC Berkley’s more promising gymnasts. And who would’ve thought Victor Salva, who made Jeepers Creepers 1 and 2, was behind this. There are a couple of scenes where skin tones appear a little off, but overall, its a strong video presentation without any noticeable flaws in the. There is a wide variety of shooting locales in the film, and they all blend together nicely in the final product. It’s one of the films that will be loved by people who can relate to it, and I’m one of them. Peaceful Warrior is presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, and it looks great. TV plays back full screen with no bars since the display has the same 4:3 TV aspect ratio as broadcast TV (the widescreen LG Vu has bars on the sides). In downtown Dallas and downtown Seattle, the Samsung did fine though, with a very sharp, clear picture and smooth frame rates. The LG Vu, thanks to its extendable antenna, managed a good, sharp picture with no drops. In our two story house in a Dallas suburb, TV worked but we experienced drop-outs and blockiness, especially on the 1st floor. But if you're at the edge of coverage things aren't so pretty and the video will drop frames and look blocky. No blocky-choppy, out of sync video here. It's much better than anything you've seen streamed over CV (AT&T's streaming media service). How does TV look? Great if you're in a good coverage area. And yes, there are commercials, though fewer than on regular TV. Some shows are repeated so you'll get a second chance to watch them, though. This is 24/7 broadcast TV, and like regular TV it's not on-demand: you catch the show when it's on. Other channels include FOX, Comedy Central, ESPN, Nickelodeon and MTV. The $15/month service includes 10 channels including 2 AT&T exclusives: CNN and the Sony Pictures channel which shows movies. This is the same Qualcomm MediaFLO technology Verizon first introduced in the spring of 2007 and Qualcomm handles the behind-the-scenes operations, though you'll pay AT&T on your monthly bill. You can check AT&T's TV coverage map to see if you're covered. You must however be in one of the 58 US metro regions covered by MediaFLO TV, and these cities include Dallas/fort Worth, Seattle, NYC, LA, Las Vegas, Orlando and more. This means you need not subscribe to a data plan or be in a 3G coverage area to watch TV. This is true digital broadcast TV over the old UHF channel 55 in the 700MHz band and it does not require or use a data connection of any kind. The Access' call to fame is its support for AT&T's newly introduced broadcast TV service, powered by Qualcomm's MediaFLO service. Two AT&T TV phones: the Samsung Access and LG Vu. The SIM card slot lives under the battery door on the back and the cover is just right: not too hard to remove but it stays firmly in place. The camera button and a shortcut launcher (games, music player, MEdia NET web browser, messaging, calls) are also on the right and the power button is the call end button. The SDHC-friendly microSD card slot is under a door on the right side of the phone. This is Samsung's usual blade style connector and a stereo wired headset with inline mic is in the box (thank you AT&T!). There's a volume rocker on the left along with a combined charger/stereo headset port. The Samsung BlackJack II and the Samsung Access. The numbers are large and easy (but not too easy) to press and we found it easy to dial and text as long as we looked at the phone while doing so. The number pad is completely flat, so there's no tactile guidance other than two tiny nibs on each side of the 5 key. Our only complaint is that the number pad is a bit too reflective and is hard to see at some angles and in direct sunlight. The phone attracts some finger oil, but manages to stay good-looking without constant wiping unlike some phones (we're thinking of you, LG Vu). The large number pad and controls surrounding the d-pad are shiny while the back and sides have a soft-touch black finish that keeps the phone securely in hand. The Access is slim, light at 3.46 ounces and attractive in a business-like way. Clearly its appeal is broadcast TV, which you can't get on some of AT&T's sexier and higher-spec phones in the same price range like the Moto Z9 and V9. It's a stand-up feature phone with 3G HSDPA, CV support, Bluetooth and a 1.3 megapixel camera. It bears a physical resemblance to the Samsung BlackJack II, but the Access isn't a smartphone and forgoes the QWERTY keyboard. Unlike the Vu, the Samsung Access looks, acts and feels like a standard candybar phone. say you're the kind of guy or gal who says "give me a normal keypad"? What if the $300 Vu is too pricey for you but you want your TV? The $199 Access will save you enough bucks to pay for almost 7 months of TV at $15/month. But what if you don't want a touch screen device. The Access and Vu are currently the only broadcast TV phones in AT&T's line, and AT&T started that service at the beginning of May 2008 in 58 metro regions in the US. Poor Samsung: they release their first MediaFLO TV phone for AT&T and it's eclipsed by the sexy, touch screen LG Vu (really the lust-inducing LG Prada with a TV tuner and an AT&T logo).
